these shills put a lot more effort fighting for trump and oligarchs than against them.

hopefully mamdani is the beginning of trend of booting out superpac pimps from dnc. these parasites have grifted enough with lesser evil excuse. no more compromise, dnc either becomes a democratic party or the progressives should form a new party.

I would say forming a new party is probably the best move, but ultimately getting another party that isn't red, blue, or yellow (sorta) on every ballot in the country is incredibly difficult, as in the laws are specifically designed to discourage it from happening. The Green Party, for example, only appeared on 37 of the 51 state ballots (DC Included.)

It's actually kinda insane that our national election doesn't have a nationally standardized ballot.

The Green Party also has 0 representatives in Congress, and get a lot of their funding from conservative PACs like Badger Values to use as Spoiler Candidates.

Yeah the horrible spoiler laws that make a party get 5,000 signatures to appear on a state ballot. Outrageous.

citizens united was probably more damaging that allow this to happened.

Why do you think Mamdani is a shill fighting for Trump? Clearly the DNC candidate is pro-tax-the-rich and that third party advocating Paterson relic from over 15 years ago is the shill.

[–] opavader@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago (2 children)

sorry if it was not clear but i was calling out Paterson as shill. he and Coumo have been helping each other hide their corruption for decades. schumer the scum is another one. that hack puts more effort into financing israeli genociders than fighting gop legislations.

Mamsani, aoc, warren and bernie are the progressives that should either takeover dnc or form a new party.

It was perfectly crystal clear. finitebanjo was trying to deflect heat from Paterson.

Sorry, I see people in these comments blaming the DNC for these ancient third party cucks and went into full defensive mode.

Perhaps you should reflect on why you feel the need to play defense for establishment Democrats despite claiming to support the paradigm shift that Zohran Mamdani represents. You have been obsessively commenting all over this thread trying to deflect criticism of the DNC by gaslighting people into believing that the DNC are all supporting Zohran Mamdani and that all these centrists coming out against him are outsiders. Are you secretly a campaign consultant for Biden or something?

[–] finitebanjo@lemmy.world -1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Because Zohran Mamdani is the DNC candidate, and like any DNC candidate is the only barrier between us and the barbarism of the GOP paying fealty for greed and means of force like the centuries before our societies developed rule by the people.

Mamdani is not a paradigm shift because 4% of his stances differ.
