Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

What do you suggest as an alternative? “Anarchy?”
Yes. Anarchism. Check the comm you're in.
You're hilarious.
Reminds me of the time someone posted "All Socialist countries eventually fail." I asked "What about Canada?" The explained that the conservative Heritage Foundation rated Canada as freer than the USA. "Great. That means we can have Canadian style healthcare here, right?"
All countries under any possible system eventually fail, because of entropy eating away at complex systems if nothing else gets it first. What makes a better judge of a country is what living in it is like for the time that it exists.
Am Canadian. It's not a socialist country.
Yes.
What is your solution?
We don't need a solution, everything is already perfect here in the USA.

Step 1: Acknowledge the problem.
Just getting the bulk of people to acknowledge, out loud, that the current capitalist structures are creating many unacceptably bad outcomes would be a start. People often leap to "well anarchy is bad too!" without spending enough time on how big the current state is.
Yeah, actually. If you’re interested in learning more, here’s a relatively short read that cover a lot of the basics: https://crimethinc.com/tce
It's a bold strategy, Cotton, let's see if it pays off for aubeynarf.
