I was thinking a joke, those jobs get so boring
I used to ask "what did you do?" when there was a guy just buying a bouquet. Got a few chuckles.
That's why I always ask if it's free when something doesn't scan the first time

She should have been able to manually add the number under the bar code and get the item, with price and name. Blame her manager for not teaching her.
The moral of the story is to always make your own pico de gallo.
