Isn't it more of a dad look (think Ned Flanders)? My father used to have a moustache, which IMO looked better than his cleanshaven face now.
IDK, it's probably highly culturally dependent. To me the mustache is stereotypical creepy redneck.
Ah yes, when i see Freddy Mercury or Magnum Pi, all i see is creepy redneck.
