Could be ADHD or anxiety too. Possibly OCD as well.

I guess my point is that 'mental illness' is more succinct.

Quite frankly I'm just lazy. I've always hated picking up my things and I've struggled with organization since I was a child. I think with me...my parents never really got on me about being neat and organized. So I never got into the habit. Still turned out fine! It just means I frantically clean before people come over lol.

That term doesn't include healthy, "normal" imbalances, though, and I didn't want to nonchalantly vilify the neurodivergent — much less perpetuate related stigmas. 🥲🤌🏼

What happened to the old fashioned "you're a slob/slacker"?

Why does everything needs to automatically point to some sort of affliction? That is worrisome.

Worrying over internet comments is a sure sign of anxiety, possibly OCD, maybe even PTSD if there’s a particular trigger.
