they were working on it long before the mandalorian was released. it was supposed to be a movie but they pivoted to TV after Solo flopped.
Both Solo and the Mandalorean were better then it. The should have just renamed it Leia, because that's at least closer to what it was. And it would have been a shit Leia movie
no argument there, just explaining his perspective leading up to the release.
Yeah, I was just bitching about how bad it was, just had to get it out lol
And Solo flopped thanks to Last Jedi, probably would have done fine if it wasn't for the timing.
I actually enjoyed Solo, and wish they would make another.
I'm hoping the new Darth Maul show continues the storyline and proves successful. Then we can go back and get new Solo in a newly established era.
I mean, they also basically completely restarted production when they were 90% done. That movie cost almost $400m to make, I think.
