Balatro is well done
You say its well done but i dont see that, why do we have pixelated cards in 2025?
Why it have plane buttons with no ornaments or any detailes on them? Look at old games, look at buttons in old games, look at detailes.
Find on youtube original, first dota gameplay and look at how mouse looks like. That is art. And look how mouse is in this 20 years newer gameβ¦
Sure, the pixelated look is "simplistic" but I don't feel it detracts from the gameplay. It's deep, your choices are interesting and significant, and it's oh so addicting. And most importantly, it's fun! I recommend it to friends and they think it's fun.
