I understand your point, but at best you are only referring to the Third Reich. Even that's questionable.

The fascists in Germany were beaten back by the Red Army. Fascism will keep growing back whenever capitalism runs into crisis, but it remains true that force is required to stamp out fascism, and the group most willing to do so is the organized working class.
