CBC has nerfed itself because it cares more about it's budget than the integrity of the news. Same thing happened to NPR and now it's just gardening shows.
The budget needs to be hard lined and indexed, not under control of any political party. As it stands in 2025, it's watered down timid garbage and the good journos have left or been fired. When Poilievre had a 30 point lead (LOL), they kissed his ass twice a week.
