United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Theroux is responsible for whom he chooses to platform and what parts of an interview to publish. He knew this would be controversial, generate lots of clicks, and might lose him sponsors that don’t want to associated with radical rhetoric.
The guy has literally interviewed the KKK, but this is radical rhetoric too far?
Did the KKK guy defend chants to „Gas the Jews“ or similar in his interview?
Did Bobby Villain chant "death to the Jews"? Stop making false equivilence.
Did Vylan call for the deaths of jewish people or did he call death to the IDF which is entirely different?
No but...he's a KKK guy so...did he need to?
He has interviewed neo-nazis in the past so it is odd that a rapper is the one who sets these “advertisers” off.
You do know that's the job of journalists right? Journalists have in the past spoken to many people it doesn't mean they endorse those people it just means that the journalists want to get their side of the story. This includes pirates, murderers, and even dictators.
You're complaining that a journalist is writing articles that people want to read.
