☠️ Just punishment: a Russian OMON lieutenant colonel involved in war crimes in the Kyiv region was liquidated in russia

On October 25, 2025, a car exploded in the Kemerovo region of the aggressor state of the Russian Federation. At the wheel was the war criminal Mazhzerin Veniamin Vladimirovich.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Mazhzerin, born in 1980, served in the OMON special unit "Obereg" of the Rosgvardia directorate for the Kemerovo region.

❗️ "Obereg" is one of the many Rosgvardia units involved in war crimes and the genocide of the Ukrainian people in the Kyiv region, committed by the occupation army during the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine in February–March 2022.

Based on the collected evidence and eyewitness accounts, the Office of the Prosecutor General opened criminal proceedings against the unit's servicemen, including for violations of the laws and customs of war.

▪️The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine identified the war criminals from "Obereg" by name back in April 2022 and planned measures aimed at the just punishment of those on the list.

DIU reminds that there will be just retribution for every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people.
