While Russia is losing warships because they don't have enough close-range deck weaponry with the ability to throw enough lead downrange, some rando's project in the US being used to shoot at little UAVs for fun:

Generally, the close-in weapon systems on some of the Russian vessels that have been attacked appear to be less than effective against these novel threats.
