As long as they can eat pasta so we can do the Lady & the Tramp thing, it's all good. No celiacs disease bf/gf for me, thanks.

Wheat allergy is also a thing. You have no idea how many things contain wheat. It's in fucking everything.
I had a friend with a wheat allergy as a kid, I pretty much couldn't share any food with him.
Gluten-free pasta exists.
