I disagree. If that was the case he would have won wdc. Because for the vast majority of the season they had the better car, but botched it either due to teams failure or some own mistakes. Don't get me wrong, Lando is very fast, but it takes more than just being fast to become wdc.

But Max and RB are willing to do whatever it takes to win WDC. If McLaren doesnโt want to pick a number one driver early in the season and Norris doesnโt want to play dirty as Max (Austria was hard driving but Max in Mexico was dirty af) he wonโt win WDC next season.
Every champion we have seen played dirty to some degree.
