I canβt remember of thereβs multiple of these, but if not, I saw the same one in Vegas during an F1 event.

Rules
AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).
Nudity: Nudity is and has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude subject matter.
Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.
Conduct: Be nice, and don't be a jerk. Constructive criticism is OK, but don't be mean. Encouragement is always welcomed.
Very few people are lucky enough to see a beetle in its dehydrated state; this makes it easier for shipping, and usually the dealer will 'unpack' the beetle.
If you somehow receive a dehydrated beetle, just add water and it should unfold into the shape people are more familiar with (fair warning: make sure you do it outside, it's a one time process)
It's a rolly polly

Beetle sphere takes the vehicleβs iconic curves to the extreme. Responding to the carβs loaded political history and signature design, the work features the twentieth-century design classic warped into a sphere comprised of authentic and fabricated components. To avoid the damage involved in reshaping a real car, Noor carved a spherical polyurethane replica of the vehicleβs body and then cast it in aluminium. A separate spherical interior was produced and fit to the cast exterior. The resulting sculpture is augmented with original car parts by the manufacturer to complete the illusion.
neat!

Why does this remind me of foot binding
A physicist made this, didn't they?
Edit: reference
you know how hard it to keep it from rolling? given there's no friction
Seems like, in that case, it would just slide.
Source: Watched Magic School Bus in the 90s.
Valid source, but it a proper format, like APA or Chicago style.
I've never written any kind of paper outside of an intro level class, so I'm forced to assume you want something like
yes, plz send me a random act of deepdish pie
Honestly I really need to know how they did this, like, is it an actual bug they crushed them added custom windows?? If so, how did they get it so smooth? Must be a metallic sculpture
And the paint?
Edit: @celeste@kbin.earth posted the How
That just looks like an empty account to me

Very weird, turns out I can see your profile by clicking it, but clicking a link to it shows no posts, must be a fediverse quirk
Gotta catch 'em all!
Ah yes, the dung beetle's preferred method of travel
The King of All Cosmos is gonna use this to create the Volkswagen constellation.
When the lemon is too sour
Interesting was it always like that or they crushed a car?
That's what the Volkswagen Beetle looked like. It was very challenging to get in and out and you needed a bunch of chocks to secure it when parked.
Oh that's what happened to my car when I got cutoff by that damn red monolith memes always talk about.
First decent looking one I have seen.
