Listened to it after the Holotalk, didn’t love it initially but it definitely grew on me.
Shameless plug for Under the Stars, of which The World Outside is a sort of “sequel”, and which deserves WAY more views (I’m still sad Gura never sang it in a karaoke or something ;_;).
I liked it (but didn't love it) when I first listened to it but for some reason I've come back to it and now really love it!
They're both kind of odd songs, but after a few listens they get you in the "mood" they want to convey and really do their job. And Alina/g4wrr is a really good singer from what I've listened to.
Something I've realized about The World Outside is that the middle part (where the other Myth girls come in) it gives me a weird corporate-y vibe because it reminds me of the Dumb Ways to Die song somehow?!?
Now that you mention it, it… kinda does? Even though one is very bittersweet and the other is a meme song, they do have some underlying similar vibe anyway. Music is a weird thing lol
