People were starting to laud the US president for his resistance to the Israeli PM’s pull, but what now?

When he was elected, Donald Trump suggested he could hammer out a new relationship with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister who was used to getting his way with the White House. But after just over 150 days in office, it appears Trump has fallen into the same trap as his predecessors – and launched the most consequential strike on Iran in generations.

From early suggestions that the Trump administration would rein in Netanyahu’s military ambitions, it now appears that the Israeli PM has manoeuvred the US into striking Iranian uranium enrichment sites directly after a series of military attacks that Washington was unable to deter the Israeli PM from. And the US is now bracing for a retaliation that could easily bring it into a full-scale war.

We need to start taking a hard-line against any politician taking AIPAC money

We're on our third presidential term in a row where the president prefers Israel to America, and a shit ton of Congress does to

If someone takes AIPAC money, I can't vote for them anymore.

Did you watch that clip of them asking NYC mayor candidates where they would travel to first if they were elected. It's fucking blatant.

I'm really hoping we see some good out of that primary.

But NY state Dems are corrupt as fuck as a state party. They don't care what NY voters want, it's a "safe state" so they cram conservatives like Eric Adams or Hillary Clinton thru a sham primary, then fall back to:

Who else ya gonna vote for?!

Mamdani is the only one who seems to want to fight fascism

Cuomo doesn't give a shit about that, he just wants more women to sexual abuse and more money to grift.

Trump has based his entire personality on a third rate Mafia thug. He's the guy who thought Fredo should have led the Family. Of course he'd pretend to be a peacemaker and then do a sneak attack.

Fredo had better fashion sense.

I think that first wife Ivana dressed him until he dumped her.

It was inevitable cause Trump is a schmuck.

No one has ever lauded that fat fucking turd for anything. If this is the excuse we need to execute his entire group of family, friends, and associates, then let's take it and strike while the treason is hot

"Trap" is giving too much credit to all parties. They all are doing things that they think will keep them in power longer; Netanyahu because of all the corruption charges, and Trump because he wants to be seen as this cool tough guy / just wants to watch explosions.

Dear Netanyahu,

I hope you like sloppy seconds. Putin was already there, and I'm not sure Trump rinsed his mouth.

The guardian is just cranking out journalism. Quantity first and quality, sure?
