If they are Republicans and come here, I'm not so sure they deserve to be treated like humans, but they will be anyway.

Everyone deserves to be treated as humans. Humans just don't deserve good treatment

*you will anyway

The only way "they" will is if they're white. And not just any white, the right kind of white. The kind of white that white can be proud of.

*disclaimer: I felt fucking gross writing that, and feel it's my responsibility to say FUCK RACISTS.

Why do you assume racism in my country? And not all republicans are white.
The reason they will be treated as humans regardless of skin color and being republicans, is because that is the norm here.

Obviously no country is completely without racism, but it is nowhere near as bad here as in USA.

Maybe I misunderstood the "*you" and "they", because you don't really specify what you mean exactly.

You're right that I assumed you were in the USA, but as you said, no country is without racism. Unfortunately, you're also right that It's nowhere near as bad in many other countries as it is here (unfortunate that it's gotten so bad in the US, not that other countries aren't on the same page).

Politics tricks us all into thinking someone is listening.

There is no such thing as illegal people.

Fuck anyone who tries to say otherwise. If an authority tries to make people illegal, then people have a moral obligation to oppose that authority.

furthermore, humans have inalienable rights

[–] Auli@lemmy.ca 0 points 2 months ago

Humans have no rights besides what the government decides to give you. People who think we deserve rights are wrong we fought for those rights and they can be taken away very easily.

the earth is not round, it has mountains.

The earth is flat. Most of the water is not carbonated.
