I know. Same story as almost every successful European web/IT startup. We need to put a stop to that.

( And..)We should improve our capital investment market. So European companies can grow and stuff.
The problem is that a lot of European investors are more careful with their money and don't just throw it at every startup that MIGHT eventually become successful. The other issue is that European projects have to comply with the laws and regulations in 20 counties and support 20 language to take of to reach a few 100 million users, while us startups only need to comply with us law (optional) and can reach 400 million users on us and Canada alone.

Exactly. That's why improving or having an European Capital Market like described here and in Draghi's report should facilitate homegrown businesses, and tackle many of the mentioned problems (hopefully).
