"South Park" is back to once again mock President Donald Trump — and this time, Vice President JD Vance, too.

The Comedy Central show took aim at the president, as well as Vance and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, in its latest episode, "Got A Nut," which aired on Aug. 6.

The episode revolves around school counselor Mr. Mackey being fired from his job and, because he's desperate for money, joining Immigration and Customs Enforcement. A parody ad for the federal agency mocks its recruitment process, with a jingle declaring, "We don't ask for experience, just show up!"

"Pummels"? Is that better or worse that "eviscerates"? What about "skull fucks"?

It's also the breed my family has had historically. She killed the dog because it was too energetic. She killed the dog because of what it was.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 2 points 5 hours ago

She killed the dog because she's a fucking swivel-eyed psychopath.

[–] Zron@lemmy.world 12 points 4 days ago

In writing we call that foreshadowing.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 13 points 4 days ago

And a goat.

She's demented.

Man, this "irrelevant show" has been making headlines every week now...

[–] AFaithfulNihilist@lemmy.world 7 points 4 days ago

25 minute episode makes a headlines everyday until the next episode comes out which oddly enough isn't each week because of how culturally relevant the episodes are the fucking president threatened their network.

I don't know that there's ever been a more culturally relevant show... Even back when they're only like three channels.

This is the 14 month old puppy Kristi bragged about shooting. She then shot a pet goat that “disgusted” her.

[–] swelter_spark@reddthat.com 5 points 3 days ago

That dog deserved a better life.

[–] Tiffany1994@lemmy.cafe 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Poor dog. Only 14 months old? Sometimes I lose faith in humanity.

While I find this season hasn't been terribly well written or even all that funny, I really enjoy watching these episodes. In this time of instability and chaos, it feels somewhat cathartic to see them just go balls-to-the-wall with their insults on these absolute bastards. On a meta level, they seem to be dropping nuance to get reactions from their targets and even hoping to get sued, perhaps looking to shed light on some hypocrisy in their targets. Or maybe they are just Trey and Matt, frustrated at the current political situation and not inclined to give a fuck anymore. Cartman's confusion is probably just them acknowledging their difficulty parodying people whose entire life is a farce.

The end credits were a fucking riot, though.

Illegitimi non carborundum.

This episode felt like a south park episode. The first was purely an attack on Trump, which may have been necessary, but it's not a great episode of south park.

[–] AgaveInMyAss@lemmy.world 99 points 5 days ago (9 children)

To be honest the funniest part of that whole episode was Vance. I lost my shit at the end when he came up.

The fact they did a fantasy island gag was perfect. Not many got the joke.

I'm starting to think they're doing this on purpose.

[–] hash@slrpnk.net 60 points 5 days ago (3 children)

Noem's face crawling across the floor was horrifyingly fantastic. And the dogs...

[–] Funky_Beak@lemmy.sdf.org 36 points 5 days ago

The dogs were intense. Like the detail of each shot. They really wanted to hammer home thay this person is a monster. And i thank them for it.

I love how JD Vance came to the bedroom with Trump and Satan and said 'would you like me to apply baby oil to zee asshole?' in a stupid French accent. It was hilarious! Yes I know the whole part was a reference to Fantasy Island, it was hilarious

How timely with ice just removing its age restrictions. Good stuff.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 26 points 5 days ago (5 children)

Talking of age restrictions...

“Do you think you could now be banging 24-year-olds,” Stern asked in the 2006 interview.

“Oh, absolutely,” Trump responded “I have no trouble.”

“Would you do it” Stern clarified.

“I have no problem,” the future president said.

Stern’s co-host Robin Quivers then asked, “do you have an age limit or would you…”

“If I- No, no, I have no age–. I mean, I have an age li…” Trump replied.

Then, when asked to provide his “upper bracket,” Trump said, “I don’t want to be like Congressman Foley, with, you know, 12-year-olds.”

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-told-howard-stern-2006-223928455.html (there are more sources for this)

So 13 is the obese imbeciles age limit ... when talking on a national(?) radio show!!

  1. Thirteen. Hmmmm. Why does 13 and tRUMP seem so icky and familiar. Oh, yes, now I remember...

(If anyone doesn't want to read this then basically he and Epstein tied up, beat, and raped a 13 years old and then made threats to keep them all quiet)
[–] Glitterbomb@lemmy.world 10 points 5 days ago (1 children)

For a second i thought this was going to be the interview where trump admits his 17 year old daughter made him promise to stop dating girls younger than her.

Dude publicly told on himself a lot.

The Vance character is fucking hilarious. Herve Villechaize from Fantasy Island is spot on. Also the eyeliner, fat checks and Trump fluffing. Not to mention putting lube on Satan so Trump can fuck him. Perfect.

[–] betanumerus@lemmy.ca 9 points 4 days ago

OMG SHE KILLED KENNY!

[–] Jiggle_Physics@sh.itjust.works 7 points 4 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

This is all such a circus. But we are not getting the bread, well a very small portion of us are getting it all, and a few places are holding the vast majority of the rest of the wealth among their peons.

[–] LadyButterfly@reddthat.com 8 points 4 days ago (4 children)

I'm frightened for them. Trump will do something to them and it'll be brutal

[–] AlexLost@lemmy.world 16 points 4 days ago

He is both powerful, yet impotent. He's got nothing to get them with, and by "getting them" he would be self owning himself because they are daring him to do it with every animated frame.

[–] bigfondue@lemmy.world 15 points 4 days ago

They are both worth about a billion dollars. I think they'll be fine. Consequences are for the poors

[–] mechoman444@lemmy.world 17 points 4 days ago (3 children)

The fuck is he going to do? Raise tarrifs on streaming media?

I wonder if they didn't purposefully work to encourage this inevitable clusterfuck for content when they downplayed how fucked-up Trump is in Season 20.

[–] vivalapivo@lemmy.today 15 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Partially yes. I guess they are owning their mistakes now by airing these episodes
