This version is far more tight lipped about what models it's running. I could get the old version to say it was Mistral.

I decided to ask it directly and it also didn't share. But weirdly enough, I asked about its water and electricity usage and it gave me a table. It mentioned Nemo Mistral, OpenHands 32B, OLMO 2 32B and Mistral Small 3 as the four primary models. Just sharing the info, I don't know much about the models because I avoid A.I. chats in general but I got curious because I'm familiar with Proton stuff and your comment got me curious enough to prod the clanker.

Valid. For any non-local AI, your data will need to be decrypted at some point on some server. This is inherently less secure than Proton's traditional services, which are built on the idea that that can never happen.

Still, this is a smaller privacy nightmare than most AI services
