battery life seems good as I used it all day yesterday and only charged it once towards the end of the day. It's running lineage OS, and performance seems good. If you are leave too many apps open it'll slow down, but other than that, its pretty cool as a secondary phone. Kindle is so much more fun to use on this.
I got it from a guy on the blackberry subreddit over on reddit. he sells a few of them apparently. popping a 256 gb microsd card in this today!
Sweet thanks. I may need to suss this out.
Wow, what a sight! Surprised there was a Lineage ROM for this. What model is this?
blackberry passport se. converting to android involves an emmc swap so its pretty technical, but the guys working on these on the subreddit seem to know what theyre doing. It runs lineage 18.1 (android 11)
Oh right, didn't notice the post body. I gotta be honest, I haven't seen a modern-ish phone with a square screen before 😅 Looks awesome!
I'm drooling it's sooooo amazing
Wow. This is super tempting to try.
Is this like a unihertz but with more steps?
just an internal chip swap and flash with android. still has old internals--32gb storage and 3gb ram. The zinwa p26 will completely modernize the internals of passports (regular passports, not silver editions)
I'm using a samsung microsd card so 288gb of storage
Very cool!
