Well, clearly if they're designed to fight modernized T-72s they'll not be prepared to face T-62s. Checkmate westoids.

Have Ukrainians been making cat noises at the Russians as a taunt of some kind?

[–] ceenote@lemmy.world 16 points 1 day ago (3 children)

And what does a Ukrainian-accented cat noise sound like?

Did you just... put the е оборотное (backwards ye) backwards?

Anyway, using my limited knowledge of cyrylic gained from learning Russian, I think it is read as myevro-osh. Or me-osh, if we treat the euro sign as stylized э.

How do you think Moscow got it's name?

[–] AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

By making ruminant sounds?

If you wait long enough, the front will come to you.

Russia, what a country!

And if they somehow survive the ordeal they'll be reassigned to fill vacant positions in the remnants of what used to be an infantry squad, due to lack of tanks.

But at least your mechanization training comes to somewhat good use: You're among the few who get assigned to a motorized squad. And you're issued eScooters.
