It's green washing at its best, but I'm a big fan of these wood building initiatives.

That said, it's still fuck Amazon!

Hm, the photos looks like the exterior walls and roofing are plywood, while the floor is concrete, columns are steel, and roof trusses are steel. And the upper half of the wall is glass. So how much of it is wood, really? 30%? If I lived in a house made of these materials, I would not claim to live in a house built of wood.

I know you're sniping at Amazon and their practices, but using disinformation to do so doesn't sit well with me. Wooden buildings are no more prone to fire than concrete or metal buildings.

🤦‍♂️ it's not the frequency, it's what happens when it starts to burn. There's a reason nobody wants to insure commercial buildings with frame construction.

People dying in a burning building is very expensive for an insurance company. They tend to want to avoid it.
