It absolutely socks she got run over by an ebike, and something should be done about it. Im glad she's here to tell her story.
If it was a car, there would be no story to tell. So prioritize work accordingly.
Every e-bike is a car off the road.
People by ebikes for leisure use as well, not just as a mode of transportation. I have two ebikes and they haven't cut down my car use at all.
I think the proper term here is coresampled
