😥 These guys own the rights for High-fi Rush
No one will remember them when they're gone in a few years.
The Last Epoch subreddit is currently in meltdown mode, seems like this news has kinda ended any potential goodwill and community the devs had grown. Real shame, because it was a cool competitor in the ARPG space, but the last update was incredibly underwhelming. Between that, this, and the fact that they're going to be charging for future expansions, seems p likely they go under in another year.
It just stopped running at all for me (older pc, Linux/bazzite) after this last set of updates. I've been playing since early beta and it's a wonderful alternative to PoE, grim dawn, etc but I won't be playing.
FML. And i was so exited for a potential hi-fi rush 2
