Spez won't have the most downvoted comment in history, he'll edit the downvotes away before it reaches a couple thousand.

[–] Dalek@lemmy.world 14 points 2 years ago (1 children)

100%. If he doesn’t they’ll by far be the most downvoted in history of reddit

[–] eric5949@beehaw.org 5 points 2 years ago

Honestly idk, pride and accomplishment is actually so far down it might keep it.

[–] Bezbakri@kbin.social 11 points 2 years ago

Or he'll just disable voting to not hurt his ego.

[–] krolden@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 years ago

I think he's proven many times he doesn't give a shit about what his users think of him.

[–] Moonrise2473@lemmy.ml 18 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Ah now i understand! It's AMA - ASK me everything. That's why he is ignoring all the questions. We can just ask questions, not get answers

[–] xyon@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 2 years ago

lol every answer he's actually commented in has been downvoted to fuck

[–] 1hitsong@lemmy.ml 18 points 2 years ago (1 children)

His opening introduction needs to be an apology directly to Apollo's dev. Not a corporate deflection apology, a sincere apology for pulling his name through the mud.

It won't happen because VC & IPO money hangs in the balance of showing no weakness, so I fully expect a doubling down.

[–] dingus@lemmy.ml 19 points 2 years ago

That's not just doubling down, that's straight up gaslighting.

[–] revalisgale@lemmy.ml 18 points 2 years ago

Damn...this is embarrassing. A child could come up with a better answer

Hard support for anyone leaking phone calls of reddit administrators.

[–] krolden@lemmy.ml 6 points 2 years ago

Or any other evil millionaire+ techbro capitalists really

[–] dessalines@lemmy.ml 14 points 2 years ago (5 children)

Lol nice. When does that start btw?

[–] dingus@lemmy.ml 14 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

I saw that it was at 1030am PT

EDIT: They're late. Shocking. These chucklefucks couldn't organize their way out of a wet paper bag.

EDIT 2: The first question he answered is such a shit question to answer, and his answer is the same line they've been feeding for years about the official app. lmao what a fucking maroon. The comment he replied to had 7 upvotes when he replied to it while igorning comments with over 200 upvotes at the time.

EDIT 3: And he's immediately resorted to gaslighting about the Apollo dev. great look going there, spez.

[–] Amir@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 years ago

In about 1.5h from now according to a source I saw on /r/Save3rdPartyApps

[–] miz_nocturnal@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 years ago

In a few minutes I think! ...10:30 PT is what I'm seeing on reddit so far!

[–] stanleytweedle@lemmy.ml 14 points 2 years ago (1 children)

"Plead to subreddits to not blackout" probably won't be direct, but he'll make asinine points that basically say "You shouldn't, and don't, but I'm not going to ask nicely for peasants not to revolt because you're all just peasants".

[–] shortkid113@lemmy.ml 10 points 2 years ago (1 children)

How much do you want to bet that they just remove mods from popular blacked out ones, then reopen it with admins running them?

[–] markipol@beehaw.org 4 points 2 years ago

That was my theory, and as soon as I saw the line about "Reddit approved moderators" having exclusive access to a feature (don't remember what one, something to do with mod bots I think) it was confirmed. I doubt many very popular subreddits will be permanently disabled anyway (the only way you'd get anywhere, the WGA doesn't say "we won't work for 2 days and will go back to work after those 2 days regardless of what happens") but those that are will just be forcibly re opened and mods replaced.

It's happening! ama

They better hurry, my popcorn is getting cold.

[–] miz_nocturnal@lemmy.ml 6 points 2 years ago

You're in the right place. I think they're late, but I also see conflicting information about when it starts. I'm not surprised at the disorganization honestly.

[–] lazylion_ca@lemmy.ca 8 points 2 years ago

This amuses me.

[–] ansik@kbin.social 8 points 2 years ago (1 children)

That bingo card is on easy mode, my bet is P column within an hour of starting! :’D

[–] SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

I see your 1 hour, and raise you 25mins tops!

Edit: when I opened the comments they didn't all load the first time, I hadn't known it had already kicked off. It does look like I may have been right though

[–] FriendlyFusion@beehaw.org 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

This is both hilarious and sad
