Vortex Mod Manager is my suggestion.
Thanks, I will take a look at it.
This mod requires the OBSE (Oblivion Script Extender) to be installed in order to function. I'm not sure if that requires anything special to install in linux, but get that working and this mod should work with it.
Edit: it appears OBSE has instructions for installing the script extender in linux.
Thanks, I didn't even know that OBSE exists.
You're welcome! Most mods that add things that aren't natively programmed will need OBSE. Also, make sure you enable the mod in the Data Files menu (I think that's it) in the dialog that opens before you start the game.
Edit: some mods don't require a .esp or .esm file, and won't show up in your Data Files menu.
If you want to manually add mods to oblivion you will want to create a case insensitive partition where you combine the game and the mods or you'll end up with a wonderful bunch of FileName.extension Filename.extension and filename.extension in the same folder.
