No case, no screen protector, only have a single micro scratch, had the phone a year and a half.

Subtle signs you might be a psychopath... /s
Dirty, cracked screen protector, slow as shit, still does what I need it to do.
Have a case and a screen protector. The phone is in pretty good shape with no dent or scratches on the screen after 3 years, dropped it plenty of times too
I was using < 200 euro phones until recently and never bothered to put any protection on it. But a couple of months ago, I purchased a Pixel 6 and am now using a cover as well as a protective screen.
I use a screen protector and case with a pop socket. My phone is 4 years old and still in good condition. The screen protector has some small scratches but not enough to be worth replacing.
I have a case, screen protector, and a vinyl skin to protect the back glass from scratches too. There is literally no surface on my device left unprotected.
I use a screen protector and case. I tend to drop and scratch phones so it's for the best. No protection plan though. I should replace the screen protector as it started peeling on one corner a few months back.
I have a terrible habit of dropping (or often straight up throwing) my phone around on accident. I always use a tempered glass screen protector and a solid case that extends beyond the screen in the front.
Case, screen protector, and AppleCare+
Case because I like the way my case feels over just metal, and screen protector because my phone sometimes ends up in the same pocket as my keys and I donβt want to end up with micro scrapes. Additionally, one time I pushed off of some rocks I was sitting on and my phone was face down and I shattered my screen protector but my phoneβs glass was fine.
Iβve only ever actually used Apple Care once and it was because I got a battery service needed alert about a month before care was going to expire so I got a free replacement phone - it was in the middle of COVID closures too so they mailed me a new phone and I mailed them my old one. I could probably get by without it but Iβm paranoid that the time I skip it will be the time I shatter my phone before Iβm ready to upgrade.
If you have a good case (like otterbox) you shouldnt need applecare. I tend to break things a lot so I figured I'd get the Applecare and not worry about cases and screen protectors. I hate cases and screen protectors.
The only thing Iβve used it for was a hardware fail after warranty but before Apple Care was up so yeah, itβs like do I want to pay for it up front or just wait and see. I donβt love bulky cases and Iβm not hard on my electronics but Iβm also clumsy as all hell so itβs more of a peace of mind thing.
Phone case , no screen protector. I have one crack on my screen , near where you put your ear on phonecalls.
I always have a case, but no screen protector, the case extrudes enough from the front to protect the screen most of the time.
I used to have a screen protector, but because it adds extra width it went outside the edge of the case and it broke. And honestly I prefer microscratches over trapped dust particles. The only reason I'd put a screen protector on my phone now would be to replenish the oleophobic coating, and I'd do it, it's just that idk which brand I could trust to actually have a good one included.
I use a cheap android phone (<$120 when I bought it 3 years ago). I protect it with cheap case + Hydrogel screen protector. I'm satisfied with Hydrogel type screen protector as it still on good condition even after my phone falls screenfirst many times. There are many scratches right now on the screen protector, but it still usable and not annoying as most scratches located on the edge of screen. Most of them caused by falling sceenfirst to gravel ground and asphalt several times.. lol.
i use a repairable phone. Brought a sreen protector and a case bout left my case a few weeks ago to my sister who has the same model and already some damages to the outside. The protection glass gets more and more cracks but nothing too serious
Yeah, specifically a hard glass screen protector - it has saved me multiple times!
IIRC the one I have atm is PanzerGlass.
Yes, I own a case and glass screen protector. I went without a screen protector with an old Pixel and ended up with quite a few microscratches that drove me nuts. A friend of mine used a case but no screen protector on his iPhone and I don't know how he does it. I'd be constantly worried about scratches.
Case but no screen protector for me.
Pixel 7 with a case but no screen protector. I realized that scratches on the screen are easily avoided and breaking the screen won't be stopped by a thin piece of plastic.
It seems to me like most phones are designed with the idea that you'll use a case. Trying to use the phone without a causes my palm to hit the screen constantly, resulting in errant touches my phone tries to respond to.
Ideally this phone lasts forever, that's the idea, anyway.
I use a good case (not the one the phone came with, Xiaomi cases are terrible) and a good tempered glass (the phone came with a low quality hydrogel). The phone is in great condition because i never drop it (phones are expensive in my country so i plan to use it for a lot of years)
I always used a flip case to protect my screen from scratches but after the case disintegrated, I realize my screen doesn't get scratched in my pocket and it's not as bulky.
I don't have a screen protector on my phone, and I wasn't going to get a case but had to because the camera on the back of it sticks out and my phone wouldn't lay flat and it just wanted to scratch the camera lens. The case makes it so my phone can lay flat, and I have better grip I guess. It's just a slim case, nothing bulky.
Case, not too fancy, decent screen/camera protector, refurbished s10. It's literally the nicest phone I've ever owned lmao. It gets beat up at work with dust and paint but it's doing great. Hang in there Lil buddy
I have a case and a tempered glass protector. I like the case because it add some grip and my current phone doesn't do wireless charging so I have a small metal plate between the phone and the case to use a magnetic phone holder in the car. That way I don't have to glue it tonthe back of the phone and you don't see it.
I don't take the extended warranty because I buy my phone unlocked, and my credit card offers an extra year of warranty on top of the one from the manufacturer so I have two years of protection instead of one.
I use a case, one that also protects the face with high edges, also a screen protector, the hard perspex type. Well worth protecting your investment.
I use a case since I dropped it and the back (glass) is cracked. Because I don't want to risk cutting my hand, I'm using the case that came with the phone.
Still no screenprotector though. There are some micro scratches, but no visible damage when using it.
3.5+ year old phone. No phone specific insurance either.
Glass screen protector. Rear leather skin from dbrand. Insurance from my bank.
I use a full case, with built-in screen cover. The case is banged up and the screen cover is scratched up but the phone inside is still basically pristine after about 5 years. I've replaced the case once a few years ago and probably will again if I don't get a new phone. In the past I didn't use protection and my previous phone had the screen break from a ridiculously short drop so I decided to go all out on protecting my next phone. It's worked out well because I literally toss my phone wherever I want without really worrying about it now.
I stopped using a case a few years ago since they always felt too bulky.
I just started going without a screen protector a few weeks ago too since I hardly drop my phone and when I have, a screen protector wouldn't have saved me from the small damage it inflicted.
Aside from a little paint scratched off from a corner (phone flew out of my pocket when I jumped while wearing some baggy shorts a few months ago), it's been going great. π
No protection plan or extended warranty or anything of that sort.
Case and only have a micro scratch.
