Hello fellow Cyanide and Happiness fans!
About this community and how I post the comics… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. Of course these days you can read your favorite comics online instead of a newspaper, but I love the nostalgia of reading the daily comics. Anyway, one of my favorite current comics is Cyanide and Happiness and I will be posting the daily release from their website (https://explosm.net/) and a an extra or two randoms.
Cyanide & Happiness (C&H) is a webcomic created by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick and Matt Melvin. The comic has been running since 2005 and is published on the website explosm.net along with animated shorts in the same style. Cyanide and Soul Crushing Despair
Depressing comics week eh?
Well this isn't very happiness.
No no this is Ice Cream and Sadness
Serious answer: they have an on and off event called depressing comics week, we're instead of telling jokes with dark humor, they just create dark scenarios that aren't funny at all.
Why? It is done intentionally to see if they can successfully create scenarios that make people sad. Which is all things considered actually a healthy exercise for someone who regularly engages in dark comedy to do. Helps them remember where the line needs to be kept in order to keep things funny.
Lame.
Very cyanide though....

I guess that's the Cyanide part of the title. Fucking hell.
Damn too real
Ugh. Took my kids to their school for schedule meet and greet. Saw kids who looked like the ones who bullied me when I was their age and all the emotions and memories came flooding back. These are kids 1/3rd my age and strangers, they have no power over me and yet I felt messed up.
Fucking hell...
Oh hell. I’ll just push the whole need for expensive counselling aside and carry on with my life then.
