Why, did something big happen?
This reminds me of a story my grandfather told me about WW2. He was in the Pacific front. When the war was over, they were bringing everyone back (slowly). When they got back to Hawaii, there was supposed to be a huge victory party/parade/etc for all the soldiers before heading back to the mainland. When they got there, there was a huge pile of food for them, but it was all Spam (which was the only "meat" they had for the last couple years). Instead of staying for the party, all the soldiers just left into town to fend for themselves, since they were so sick of Spam.
They had a strong spam filter by that point.
And the Spam never left Hawaii.
Exactly what I was thinking of while reading this comic.
