Reminder that Liberalism is also a right-wing ideology, it's just a bit more socially centrist than conservatism. You don't really have much of a left-wing voice in US politics at all, beyond a couple of politicians, I'm afraid.

Actual left wing politicians are guided by ideology to primarily benefit the greatest number of people with their policy.

Right wing politicians are guided by ideology to primarily benefit those holding the greatest amount of capital with their policy.

Pretty much everything else follows from that.

Right wing politicians operate on leverage.

These people gave them the keys in exchange for hearing what they wanted.

They no longer have leverage as far as the politician is concerned, so he's done telling them what they want to hear.

Though you got me curious, so looking into it just now, they all use Z80 processors apparently! Which I guess is unsurprising given how successful it was in consoles in the 80s.

On the face of things, it looks like MSX has a bit more in the graphic capabilities department, but that's just me looking at a handful of screenshots, so take that with a pinch of salt

Good though, these dinosaur maintainers really need to wind their necks in. From what I've seen so far, Rust is the best tool for the job in the situations where it's been used. I struggle to see anything more from the detractors than a toddler tantrum about having to learn a new language—particularly given the current situation where they've been treated with kid gloves and are allowed to ignore it entirely.
