Yes. The g folds in front and everything shortens.

That's why we call them gls.

They need California to suck so they can feel better about Alabama.

When money has no bounds, the power it creates causes problems.

Tax the rich like we mean it.

I'm over 50 and 8 go places and do things. Now... A lot of that is to be in and around nature, but I not some idle couch potato.

That said, when the kids were still at home, some of the adventuring wasn't as feasible.

"Defense" sells better than "war."

When we go to war abroad it is in "defense" of our interests.

Please note the use of quotes. I'm not saying it should be this way. I'm saying that's the spin/marketing and that it works.

You keep putting words in my mouth and are clearly arguing in poor faith.

I said no such thing and I'm done with you.

Edit to add: people like you are why people leave lemmy or simply don't post.

I never said I supported it. That's something you read into it.

Bombing of civilians is a long established part of war. As was looting, pillaging and anything else that reminded the populace that war sucks.

Gengis Khan doesn't have as many descendents as he does because of consentual relations, for example. War is war.

It's not pretty. And none of that is me saying it's okay.

Find your villain elsewhere.

They may not, but it's part of the war.

London was bombed. Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Go to Europe and hear how things were more beautiful before the war/bombing.

Play stupid games. Win stupid prizes.

That said, I see Ukrainians as fighting for their survival and I dont fault them in the slightest.

They only mean states rights when it gets to their desired end point. To some degree that's human nature, but integrity is supposed to make it less common.

His uninformed voters buy it.

It's that simple. That and Trump is used to bullying.

Uncapping the House would go a long way towards rebalancing.

The American "left" is less gun oriented or violence prone than those on the right.

We yielded that ground for an assortment of reasons. There is no credible left wing terroristic threat. There is on the right.

Different topics, but they rhyme.

This seemed more balanced and upbeat than other reporting on the topic.

I'm always happy to see support for Matter and increased awareness.

The more we expect matter devices and insist on them, the better things get for consumers.

Now that HA is getting further with local voice control, I'm working towards a full non-cloud, de-googled home experience.

We have a Google Home Hub and we love the slideshow aspect of it. If the Hub goes, I'd like to replace it with something visually appealing and take on the responsibility of putting photos into some directory(s) for use in a slide show.

Does anyone have:

  • Preferred HA card/integration/HACS solution?
  • Recommended hardware (ideally it's a screen, not a tablet)?
  • Advice for me while I'm on this journey?

Does anyone else know if this is the new normal until this event ends? We're seeing Normal Mystery Mushrooms about... 75% of the time and they're only rewarding with white nectars.

I'm hoping this changes as the event progresses, and I guess I'm hoping someone else knows details or can speak for what's happening with mushrooms where they are.

Weekly challenges allow up to 5 total people per attempt and the more active participants you have, the easier the challenge becomes.

Please add your friend code for others to find, or look among the ones already listed.

Recommended pattern:

  • In Game Name
  • Friend Code in 123456781234 format (no spaces)
  • Avg steps per week
  • Avg flowers per week
  • Interest in second challenges in a week (and which one(s))

Example:

  • AlexDaGreat
  • 123478905678
  • 40k steps/week
  • 40k flowers/week
  • Interested in second challenge for steps, if first is complete by Wednesday

The Discord also has a large friend thread which I've used successfully in the past.

I tend to rely on City Planner Plays, and then Biffa, for hands-on explanations or analysis.

There has to be other sources of solid content - what is your preferred source of information?

I may give the dev diaries a read-through today, but I strongly suspect the content creators have already done a credible job of surfacing the bits that matter.
