my cat only drinks from the basil plant we have in a tray with water. she has 2 water fountains but prefers the basil water.

any opinion other than the second is disillusionment at best. you're telling me the dude with a history of cheating in elections, who spent his last term sowing distrust of the voting system, may cheat again and potentially help others he likes cheat? I'm shocked.

seriously, any other take is such quintessential American "it could never happen here!" mentality. we already know what's gonna happen.

taking critical damage will reroll your character

yes. I think a lot of people can. the thing is, the people who can won't be the runs running for office

I keep seeing this post go around on "leftist" Instagram pages saying "gun violence doesn't care about ideology". It's objectively true when it's talking about innocent children killed in Gaza or a school shooting, but pretending Charlie Kirk is an innocent bystander is so disrespectful. This was a dude who said black people were better as slaves. If he hadn't been spouting that bullshit he wouldn't have met this end.

I wish I could chalk it up to just corporate owned platforms, but I feel a lot of it is a lot of people who say they are leftists not understanding where we're at or who we was.

Mexican and middle eastern and I'd die happy

to add a little bit, most computer scientists don't think AGI will be achieved by an LLM. there are many other types of AI that lends themselves more to AGI, but that's not where the money is at currently so they just get buried. I actually just took a AGI class with a professor working on his own AGI system, if you're curious you can check it out here to get an idea of what I mean. https://cis.temple.edu/~pwang/NARS-Intro.html

it already does recommend the highest bidders. it's trained on the entire internet, so it will recommend companies who put the most into advertising/SEO.

in the same vein (storing more data in less bits) you should check out tagged pointers as well!

I don't think that's a useless implementation at all. code looks relatively clean, and it definitely has its uses in the embedded systems world.

we're in a thread about a script that can download and activate windows editions in place for free...

honestly proton and lutris are godsends for getting old software to work. I feel like I can get old exes working on Linux that wouldn't work on windows
