6th grade health teacher told the class that studies show evidence of increased breast cancer risk for those that have had an abortion. This was in a suburban Illinois school.

This is a common misconception. Not that I'm trying to get anyone to purchase one, but they are the most affordable electric vehicle on the market. I just bought a Prius last year and it was more expensive than their Tesla. They maybe could have bought a GMC or something, but part of this is that they wanted to be done with constantly fiddling with a shitty car. By saving a bit longer, they have achieved this and I don't blame them.
I couldn't have said it better. I feel terrible for my parents right now. They bought a Tesla a few years ago. A good portion of my teen and early adulthood was spent going to the junkyard to get parts or spending hours trying to revive a part we couldn't replace because we had no other choice. I was so happy when they were finally able to get a new car for the first time in 30 years. It wasn't what I would buy, but my dad has always been a tech nerd and this was his dream car. Now they're scared to visit me in the city because someone might scratch a swastika into their car that they're now embarrassed to drive.
I got in trouble for not singing during rehearsal for our 2nd grade Christmas concert. I remember this because I was definitely singing and it's the first time I can remember getting in trouble for something I didn't do and having no power to do anything about it. I actually love singing so much that I ended up singing in any group I could join in highschool and college. Really though, that teacher just didn't like me very much 🫤
I would like to subscribe to uranium facts please
Also still using sync. Works great! I honestly hadn't noticed there wasn't an update since my phone is so old that I rarely get updates for anything anymore.
I always thought it was funny that in Sailor Moon, the bad guy would always wait for them to transform.
The issue here is that there isn't one. If someone rolled out an update to a dishwasher that broke it and they offered to replace it with something that is not the same size, you would be pretty unhappy with how it fits in your kitchen. If they replace my phone, it will be far too large for me. I accepted the battery swap for this reason. I'm hoping small phones will make a comeback, but I'm skeptical.
In my experience, the best uses have been less fact-based and more "enhancement" based. For example, if I write an email and I just feel like I'm not hitting the right tone, I can ask it to "rewrite this email with a more inviting tone" and it will do a pretty good job. I might have to tweak it, but it worked. Same goes for image generation. If I already know what I want to make, I can have it output the different elements I need in the appropriate style and piece them together myself. Or I can take a photograph that I took and use it to make small edits that are typically very time consuming. I don't think it's very good or ethical for having it completely make stuff up that you will use 1:1. It should be a tool to aid you, not a tool to do things for you completely.
I don't want my phone replaced. I like my phone the way it is. They don't sell phones this small anymore and my small hands need it. Also it's fucking garbage that the standard is to get a new phone every 2 years. It's incredibly wasteful especially when you consider that people don't just trash their computers after 2 years. My 4A is only 4 years old and going strong! Here's to hopefully a few more years!
I got my test results back, it's definitely fascism.
That actually sounds like a good idea. Off-brand memes that are similar but definitely... Different.
