Lol. It's so greedy of them!

Jokes aside. It's an interesting distinction to make. Even though the source code is freely available, it doesn't mean developers have free reign to do anything they want like they could with open source software. Apart from special circumstances, everything made with the source code will still be mods.

A few takeaways from the move:

  • Any modifications must be released as mods
  • Players downloading the mods must own the base game
  • The mods must be free and no aspect of the mod can be monetized.
  • The mods can now access TF2 steam inventory for cosmetics and weapons (but cannot modify the inventory)

Look up a Pitney Flowmaster if you're curious for more.

Collates the inserts into stacks, aligns and opens the envelopes, pushes the insert stack into the envelope, folds and seals the flap, flips the envelope, applies a stamp, prints addresses or data, reads the barcode, ejects any flagged envelopes, and finally stacks them all in a neat row.

I figured it would be a tough one.

These are mail insertion machines I worked on for several months as a mechanic. It's a little blurry since that were moving, but here it is in action:

Interesting guess, but no.

Related to envelopes, but not for folding.

Spot on.

AnswerIt's for pushing mail into an envelope. Three or four of them work in unison to push a stack of papers/inserts into an envelope.

Lol, that's a no. It's for an industrial machine.

More of a "put all of this stuff together in one package" sorta machine. The wear piece does push something while riding in the tracks. Technically the tracks do have various depths, but that's not too important to the general function of the assembly.

There is no cam type function in the machine. The assembly is solidly attached to the bar that moves.

The bar is aluminum and the square ish piece on the left is low friction plastic.

Closest guess so far! The track is correct. Not for manufacturing per-say, but definitely a complex machine.

Some light hints that may point you in the right direction:

Hint 1The assembly is a part of a larger machine.

Hint 2Several assemblies are meant to move side by side in unison.

Hint 3The square-ish shaped piece is plastic that will wear down and be replaced.

Two Goobers is a small community to share and find cute pics that make you think of the special person in your life. Whether it be your significant other, best friend, family member, or anyone else, all types of pics are welcome.

I made this community a little while back, but wanted to fill it up some before posting it here. I have a special person in my life now, and many of the pics in the community are ones I have sent them.

The show I want to know is a animated cartoon with a cell shaded style. If I recall correctly, it was 2D animated using computer drawing (similar to the store of something like Infinity Train)

I think I found the clip from a Lemmy post several months back. The scene has been stuck in my head for a while. I described the scene to my friend and they were really intrigued. I would like to find the show, so I can show them the scene properly.

If I had to guess, I would say the show is something from cartoon Network, or possibly a pilot episode.

In the scene, a girl is walking through a dense forest of grey cylinders. They bend in multiple directions and divide or end randomly. If I recall correctly, she had short curly hair, and maybe a hat

The girl discovers a weird flower sort of thing. When she activated the flower, a bizarre set of events unfold on top of the flower. I can't recall the exact sequence of events, but they are something along the following:

  • A little creature awakens at the center of the flower. I think there was a little sprout sticking out of the flower beforehand?

  • At some point, a number of small white orbs around the perimeter of the flower activate. They move around the flower and do some things

  • I think the creature died (or maybe went into hibernation)

  • The flower ends up right where it started as a weird story of life cycle.

After she is done looking at the flower, she leaves the cylinder forest and finds her partner that she was walking with. The cylinders all grow longer, thus closing off the forest from being entered again.
