He did this while kids are dying in trenches on the war front.

Musk is so full of shit, Ukraine doesn't draft below the age of 25!!
Hey Musk maybe you should concentrate more on the people who are dying because your cars have shitty safety!!
It's not just a little shitty either, Tesla has the worst accident statistic of ALL brands.
His cars should be illegal, but instead he receives enormous government subsidies. He is the biggest leech on society EVER!!

This is very bad, lung diseases is just about the ONLY thing the Pope could die of. Because it makes it impossible for him to pray!!!
Yes yes I know atheists say God usually responds with NO! anyway, but this is the Pope goddammit!! God wouldn't say NO to the Pope...

Would he?

They are a greedy nation and poor allies.

They were great help when Yugoslavia broke down.
They were also great help, although with some hold backs to help Ukraine, it's absolutely nonsense to say otherwise.
The basis for the Europe-USA friendship is also that USA helped enormously way beyond any European country's ability in WW2. And the Americans actually secured freedom for western Europe, very contrary to the part that Soviet Union occupied.
USA was also great aid for Europe when the Soviet collapsed, making for instance Poland one of the countries where USA was most popular after that.

Unfortunately cracks began to appear already with Bush Jr. and the false intelligence on Iraq. And obviously under Trump who threatened to not respect article 5. And obviously now where Trump behaves like a mafia boss.
But there is no doubt we'd prefer normal relations restored, where USA and allies cooperate on real issues around the world.
Unfortunately Trump makes normal relations impossible.

The US is only such a powerhouse, because they generally have the support of their allies. That makes it the unparalleled biggest economic block in the world.
But without their allies, USA isn't that much stronger than China economically. And USA wouldn't be nearly the powerhouse they've gotten used to be.

So China just has to look on and do nothing, while USA is losing their world dominance quickly.

heavily biased to the point that I think it’s natural for people to have a poor understanding of fascism.

There's absolutely a tendency to gloss over things in American teachings in general history included.
So yes I agree, that could very well be part of the problem.

I learned through high school that the US had never lost a war.

Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan.
So I guess your point was easily mostly proven.

Very fitting analogy. 👍

I absolutely agree, American democracy seriously needs to be reformed, as it is it is at best a dysfunctional democracy. And I think the evidence should be very clear on that now.

Maybe I'm wrong, but as I read the article, Linus isn't convinced this is a good idea either.
I'm not saying things can never change, but opening for a mixed code base is a recipe for disaster.

That's not true, lots of companies left, some even at great cost.
Some remained under local names, I think for instance Coco Cola.
We've seen recordings of shopping malls where many shops were gone, and many of the remaining shops sold obvious counterfeit western brands.
Also a lot of business is decidedly illegal to continue in Russia due to sanctions.

That seems brutal, will they ever recover?

In Denmark when a car reaches 6 years, it needs to be safety checked to be used on the roads. After that it's every 2nd years.

Tesla model 3 managed these safety checks extremely poorly, with 3 times the average failure rate.

In total, 1,392 errors were found on the Tesla model, which is three times as many compared to the other electric cars.

For the past 6 days, I've received 5 updates of more than a Gigabyte!
What are these updates? Although the game has very few issues, they are never fixed!

Edit:
Apparently it's not updates, but downloads of undermined purpose?

Russia has launched an offensive into the Kharkiv region, and it has created a lot of alarmist news reports. In reality it is difficult to see what Russia's plan is, and it is not self-evident that it is a smart use of resources. In this video I discuss whether we might be seeing a return to the fragmented command structures that Russia had in the beginning of the war.
