America was colonized on the principles of not being taxed by a king and not being told how many wives you can have by a pope.

The separation of church and state was a lofty ideal, but never a realistic one given who moved to America.

I grew up in churches that eventually went full MAGA. A LOT of them want a literal theocracy where 'gods law' is the law of the land. They also believe political leaders are put in place by either god or the devil. The conflation of divine will is biblical as far as they are concerned.

They also have a cultural agenda of raising people to participate and influence politics.

The real failure is the inability to prevent the church from re-taking over the state.

This is the catholic church all over again... just with teen pageant models instead of choir boys.

Theocrats want democracy to fail. They want a world of competing autocracies. Because they believe in that context god will grant them supremacy.

Progressives need to start training martial arts and volunteering. Picket signs and passion are good... but we need some stoic fofo (fuck off or find out) energy in the movement.

I see a stark difference in what the internet thinks and what people IRL think. Everyone seems to view AI through the lens of how it directly effects them. I personally think AGI presents an existential threat to humanity. If for no other reason than our own laziness.

So while artists and creators decry AI slop, and developers chuckle at the though of being replaced, cyber security experts are sounding alarms. These AI agents may be dumb at human stuff, but they're wizards at identifying, probing, and exploiting security vulnerabilities.

AI is a digital arms race that people are severely underestimating.

Pretty much every inter planetary satellite has a reactor for power. Not all reactive material is considered fissile.

"In the last two years, Israel has bombed Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and now Iran. They have been occupying Palestine for 75+ years. They are luring starving Palestinian children to their concentration camp food aid depots so they can snipe them dead," Grzejszczak posted on Facebook on June 19.

"Any union or other organization that doesn't fight this is choosing to stay silent during genocide."

Speaking truth to power? Not on their watch. Also interesting they choose to attack a woman over this.

Getting fired over this is has to be illegal. If it isn't than we got some phone calls to make
