Nuclear is the most expensive with long term waste, and is an existential threat.

As if we could trust industry and the government right now, ha.

We already have 4 reactors on active fault lines, others in storm surge areas of ocean, increasingly severe storms. A meltdown is when not if, as is improper disposal of waste and the ones making it sticking society with it's cost.

History scoffs at this performative bs and at starmer and his failures.

Oh how the tables turn, they will have plenty of outside work though being Cherry Picked for federal units to bust up protests and otherwise be dicks for the federal government that now wants to insert itself at every facet of Our Lives in defiance of the Constitution that tells them to fuck off outside of interstate commerce.

That is what I am saying too when they came out everything they said was bullshit. A Manifesto, somebody writing about how health insurance sucks after health insurance executive gets popped? A gun consistent with the ability to fire a 9 mm bullet? There are are more of those in the United States than mangione's age and demographic group. The pictures from the scene do not mark match up. What else some fighting a candy wrapper or is something that could have been planted after the fact. If they had real evidence they would have condemned him and public opinion right away.

They are nowhere near to having it that much together at the moment with the facial recognition and bullshit.

Mangione is not the guy that did this. Facial recognition is far from perfect. And cops lie. You should presume everything they say about anything is lie which it is.

You assume they have the right guy which they don't, they're framing him so it does not look like someone got away with it. The pictures from the crime scene do not match him.

Seeing as Luigi is innocent and a patsy they framed because they could not find the person that did it, I would not call it quite funny.

It would be just if he did not face punishment for something he did not do. The pictures from the crime scene do not match his pictures.

We are paying 10,000% more for the same drugs than anywhere else. The amount of that that went into manufacturing that we would recover by producing them locally might cover 10% of that 10,000%.

They said they were going to bully the drug industry into not overcharging so much just this summer as well, I guess they bitched out after taking a payoff from the drug industry.

Newsletters kept some informed, plays even, books. After the printing press especially.

That is why the church was so powerful though, they had people all pushing the same message working off the same game plan and it gave them real power in organization and numbers.

Not until the 18th century did they lose strict control of truth and expression.

Depends on when and where and twas religious pricks taking issue with everything mostly. Voltaire and the philosophes penned stuff in other names all the time even as it was known to be them, they're arrested quite often and thrown in prison but would get bailed out by there aristocratic Buddies sooner than later.

England had more freedom in this regard but by the 19th century the church had lost it's monopoly on truth and speach even on the continent.
