If it's used to generate and populate things like bushes, rocks, trees, etc, I really don't care.

Ok, you do you.

I'm always amazed at the hoops some home owners will go through in a vain attempt to renovate an existing bathroom in their house, rather than just burning their house down and building a new one from scratch. It's gotta be Stockholm syndrome or something.

Despite it being literally the biggest barrier brought up anytime someone suggests people should switch to Linux, it's like you guys just can't seem to get it through your head that literally 99.9% of PC users lack the technical knowledge needed to make the switch and find the amount of time and effort needed to learn how intimidating to the point that, yes, those "hoops" you mention are actually the easier option.

They're not going to be held accountable. There is no scenario where they do.

Yes, I agree. For too long now, wealthy Indians in the top 1% have been coming to the US to become CEO's or executives of US tech companies and completely running them into the ground with greedy, short-term, profit-driven strategies; completely spitting in the face of their customers and the legacy the companies once stood for, and eroding their position in the global market.

Of course, he means those Indians, right? Not the massive number of hard-working individuals who simply came to try and build a good life for themselves?

Statistically speaking, at least SOME divorces of couples with children ARE due to the children.

My favorite abandoned plot was Michael's son. Weird kid that has weird things happen around him, like multiple birds killing themselves by flying into the windows of whatever building he's in.

Then puberty hit that poor child actor like a sack of bricks, and the show runners just decided to write him out and never bring up that plot again.

It's not like they could have made a 3rd season anyways. While there were a few stories from the comics left untold, there isn't nearly enough to fill an entire other season. Maybe a couple of specials for things like The Worlds End Inn and Sandman 0, but that's essentially all that was left.

But my smooth carapace hippo would NEVER harm anyone! Just look at it's happy little smiles!

Is it just a matter of not being worth it? I see cooling towers releasing what appears to be a ton of steam, pretty high up. If that steam were captured at the top and allowed to condense, wouldn't that result in a ton of water with a lot of gravitational potential energy? That water could then be released and used to power water turbines. Maybe I'm overestimating the amount of water being released as steam, or underestimating how much is needed to spin a water turbine to get a meaningful result, but it seems like wasted energy to me.

I'm moving across the country in a few weeks and am trying to plan my route as I'll be driving a moving van with a car towed behind it. The entire drive will be 16-17 hours.

Google maps seems limited for searching everything I'd want to take into account for the route (pull through gas stations, height requirements, avoiding mountain highways, etc.) and was wondering if anyone knew of a better way to plan out the trip?
