Hi,

I took my spotify playlist and downloaded it all in mp3, because it doesn't change very much and I would like to do away with even a free, arr, spotify.

When I was younger I got my music from the radio, so I am checking that vector, any recommendations?

I found https://radio.garden/ which is a good start I think.

As a side note, publicity in foreign languages goes so much better on my ear, even American English, "buy this medicine", "contact this lawyer" lol! but it is of course even better with no publicity at all.

Thank you!

My eleventh portrait since Christmas :-)

I decided to completely stop any beforehand outlining (like printing out the photo and copy it over to help with borders and placements of eyes, mouth, nose etc) and drew everything with a paintbrush doing the old "holding out your paintbrush to measure" trick. The first two paintings didn't went very well but I'm kind of happy with this one.

A lot of french ultramarine and phthalo blue was used :-)

That video is a good start, if you get the hang of Value/Chroma/Hue (or "saturation" instead of chroma in digital media) your artworks will show it.

Value > Chroma > Hue.

Florent Farges has a lot of very good youtube videos and the ones about color are probably very good for digital artists too.

I added some frames in the background with skies and clouds to lighten up the atmosphere a bit.

I have this admin & art account that I use rarely, and one casual 😅

You should ask her to post her work here, it's always nice to see other people's work, share and discuss techniques!
