Gravel ofc. Just imagine being able to provide every construction site on earth with cheap gravel with no cost at all. I'd be the first billionaire on earth who didn't fuck other people over to be absurdly rich.

In my workplace filled with engineers there was a good ammount of trust for management for years, our director was considered to be a cool, unrestanding guy. It toppled in an instant when a new CEO decided to implement new set of much stricter rules that made everyone realise they are indeed members of working class and not the mythical middle class. It doesn't change much that your tool is a computer and not a greasy, dirty and smelly machine and your job requires a degree, if you work for a private enterprise your work and life is not worth more than an imaginary number representing a market value of the company. From my perspective it's funny to see how belief in meritocracy falls after years of being made fun of for mocking it.

What's his fucking issue with Ukrainians? Is it all about the time when Zelenski didn't help him produce dirt on Hunter Biden? There is around a million of Ukrainians in Poland right now and crime related incidents involving them are rare. They are a net benefit to society. A million more tax payers. Unfortunately due to incompatibility of their education system and slight language barrier they do jobs below their education level but their contribution is undisputable. Quick influx of them hastened problems with housing affordability in largest cities but it's not their fault that the government has no strategy to combat high housing prices, without them the situation would still arise but a couple years later. I'll take 240k more Ukrainian immigrants than 240k American tourists anytime.

I had absolutely no complaints with allegro for 15 or even 20 years I've been buying there so I'm not actively looking for replacement but it will not hurt to see what competition offers. Next time I order something online I'll see if rozetka has any competitive offers.

I don't know his situation but I think primary residence up to certain value shouldn't be taxed at all. There's a huge difference between an old man living alone in a house he had built for his family 60 years ago and an "investor" who owns entire neighbourhoods. Unfortunately, where I live a property tax on as far as I remember 4th and all above residential properties has been proposed and people who oppose it the most are pensioners who live in the only property they own. Right wing media can just outright lie to people telling them the tax is going to be on every property and people go on vote against their own interests.

I do almost all my online shopping on allegro.pl. amazon never really took off in Poland so we have our own e-commerce giant. It's not centralised since it's basically a marketplace, but with strict requirements for sellers and good customer service. I'm not sure if I have ever bought anything on amazon. Most shops on allegro ship across borders so I invite everyone to try it sometime.
