Only thing I don't like about the asteroid "solution" is we'll be watching the live updates for months about it, definitely not a quick surprise and you're out kinda deal. Dinosaurs were lucky not to have telescopes.

Man I used to go out all night on maybe 1/10th that budget haha, say 10/30€ on class As, 10€ on pregame drinks, 10€ on club entrance (then on water all night). But I have a friend that spent similarly on night outs and also uses it the same way you do as justification.
Yes I second these videos, it's just the latest marketing gimmick.
This is truly a special kind of twisted.
Enjoy the ride!
Even that might not be true, my experience with people from my country is all the best ones go live somewhere else lol.
Yeah it's only some specific episodes that work as "teasers" like this, usually picked because they don't talk much about the main storylines, blink for example is entirely from the point of view of someone that doesn't know who the doctor is, so as a new viewer you share that with them.
But starting at eccleston is the best, do be warned it's definitely a bit campy/cheesy at the start, just try to look past that.
I would also suggest starting at the beginning of nuwho to get the story in the right order, even if it's indeed possible to jump in pretty much anywhere. If you feel you can't handle the slow-ish start or think you might need to see some of the best it has to offer before jumping in there are a few "star" episodes that you can watch independently, these are usually recommended when you're trying to get someone into it. Some options:
- blink
- Vincent and the doctor
- eleventh hour
- family of blood
- Smith and Jones
- The shakespeare code
- the empty child
- the girl in the fireplace
There's way more but that's more than enough.
NL doesn't have vanity plates.
I still do but I just don't have time for any serious gaming, so it's only quick or indie games for me. But I think I could see myself get back into an MMO or something when I'm retired.
I mostly watch in "VO" (like, I actually mostly consume English speaking content in general) but I'll watch a dub a few times a year when visiting family or whatever. I can tell they're putting a lot of effort into them and all but it remains a bit ridiculous especially if you're familiar with the original material.
It's definitely made that accurate/creepy for marketing reasons, they're probably hoping this will help them get investors. I would also assume you can simplify the human body design a good bit before losing the functionality we actually want from something like this.
