It requires a Facebook account to use.

Facebook is privacy invasive.

If you're tech literate, there's much better headsets.

If you're not tech literate, there's VR for consoles.

That's just because they recognize that the US isn't a democracy. Don't need the peoples vote when the peoples vote don't matter.

We're in one of those decades where multiple decades happen. Just you wait for the weeks where decades happen.

What I'm hearing here though is a greater critique of capitalism than anything. Medicine attempts to resolve situations with drugs first because it's cheapest and keeps the lights on, and people can't afford non-drug therapies because they're poor and overworked. The VA skimps because it's underfunded and America wants people to fight its imperial wars and then fucks them for doing so. Peoples' hormones are disordered because of unprecedented levels of environmental pollutants.

Croutons are cooked twice with no problems. Once the bread gets stale it probably grinds easily.

A general outline would suffice, just trying to get a sense of the scale

Was reading about The Offspring due to this post here: https://lemmy.ml/post/2628198

As I read their Wikipedia page I noticed that Dexter Holland (lead singer) has a PhD in Molecular Biology. Then I remembered that Greg Gaffin (lead singer) of Bad Religion has a PhD in Zoology.

Is this a trend in Punk Rock or am I noticing a freak coincidence? If not punk rock, is there any genre that stands out in its number of highly educated artists?

Even if we're subscribed to them? Could a temp block exist in conjunction with a subscription? I love c/memes but holy shit no matter which sort I select by they've managed to overwhelm my feed.

I tend to like the volunteer-read audiobooks on librivox and recently was curious about their Sherlock Holmes books (never read or listened to before), but I'm wondering what else is out there and popular in the community.
