Sorry to hear, good luck!

Here in Catalunya it’s an alternate between quite sunny days and more cloudy (like today). Next week should still be maximum 24-25 degrees (15-16 at night), so not too bad.

Well, that's another one I didn't know!

Thank you for the detailed analysis!

I say punctual because I'm not talking about car sharing services where you pay a fee, then can get access to a fleet of cars owned by the service provider (usually on a regular basis, such as once per week).

I'm also not talking about traditional professional car rental companies like the ones you see at airports and big cities. I actually recently rented one of those, and the experience has been quite bad: the company rejected our physical Revolut MasterCard, then rejected virtual cards, and didn't allow us to postpone our timeslot so that we could go home get the physical card and come back with it. They made us pay an extra to "make us a favour" and accept our Revolut MasterCard, when they first announced the extra it was kind of acceptable, but then at the moment of paying the amount was higher as the extra discussed verbally was without taxes (something I've never seen before). It was too short notice to find an alternative solution for another car rental, and we would have lost the amount we had paid in advance (you can't get refunded if you cancel less than 24 hours before the rental).

I'm talking big names here like Sixt, Enterprise, Europcar etc. The reviews on Google for all of them at the Barcelona (!barcelona@piefed.social) airport are equally bad, they all seem to use the same kind of borderline practices, knowing you need the car and you can't really get another solution on the day.

I've used GetAround (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Getaround) , a service where people can rent their personal car, once in the past, and the experience has been quite nice: you can unlock the car using the app, you are sure what car you are getting, the prices are generally lower that professional car renters, and it's more flexible overall. I didn't want to use GetAround this time as I thought that traditional car rental would be okay, but this is really one of the worst customer experience I've ever had.

Curious to see if services like GetAround are popular in other places in Europe as well.

How is Vilnius as a city? Would you recommend visiting it?

Oh ok, then I guess adding them on Friendica's side would be a first step :D

Enjoy! Do you post on any crochet community on the Threadiverse?

Ne govorim hrvatski, ali sam jednom bio u Hrvatskoj, bilo je jako lijepo. :)
