Imho something better did come along: streaming.

One of my favorite series ever. My only issue is that the later games tended to be very short with not much replayability. I paid $60 for Pikmin 3 and beat it in a day, with effectively 0 replay value. Feelsbad

And give up such juicy meme material?

One of the worst examples of the Deus Ex Machina has to be Battlestar Galactica.

I've noticed that Lemmy is getting more and more usable as more users join and add more content.

Yes, the metaphor is impossible to miss and the story itself is actually enjoyable.

On the other hand, did we need a 60 page digression on the color white? What about on how whales are taxinomically classified? About how whales are cleaned/gutted? About how whaling is a noble profession fit for kings?

The list goes on.

I'm reading Moby Dick and i kind of hate it. The narrator switches at unusual points and the story is paused more often than not so that the author can go on long winded digressions about random things tangentially related to whaling. The only point in it's favor is that the prose is very pretty.

This is fascinating

Cheaper to nuke them, I guess.

It really is a lousy game. I don't know how it became a classic.

"Should of" is bone apple tea material.

Can't find this setting anywhere in Jerboa.
