You hit the nail right on the head with your comment. We got the newspeak, where critic on israel is being counted as antisemitism nowadays. Just last week there was a huge headline in my local newspaper about the massively risen numbers of antisemitism in germany. And in the last few sentences of the article they say: oh, by the way. 2/3 of these cases stem from the recently adopted new definition of antisemitism, which has been massively criticised since then.

In essence: Israel goes batshit crazy. People in germany and especially those with roots in the middle east refuse to accept the the genocide and warmongering. Well, those are antisemites now. You don't trust these racist haters, right? Or are you one of those and wish to be ostracised as well?

Let's just say there have been some prospective bands that tried to represent germany in the past few years, namely Electric Callboy and Feuerschwanz. Both have been disregarded by some undemocratic processes through "experts" deciding against them. So, we understand it as german broadcasters being unwilling to win, either they refuse to host the next episode of the ESC or want someone else to get that PR boost. Maybe Israhell, which is lacking any kind of positive news due to their ongoing genocide in gaza?

I was right to quit that party.

Yes, and both times they were driven by economical interests. Pecunia non olet.

Pretty accurate analysis, if i might say. My only remark is on the term of "shift the blame on arabs" you used. I'd say there is a rising ressentiment in the media and populace against arabs/muslim/islamism, partially due to media reporting on violence/threats against jews in germany originating from people that have a deeper empathy for Gaza/Palestine due to their ethnic roots. Displaying these people this way as barbaric/evil kind of works as a justification to treat them in a inhuman way as well. So you see peaceful protests in germany against israels war being forcefully disbanded, with the police sometimes being cruel and brutal.
