I've never even heard of the game studio I'm not defending them, I was replying to the person who said the company should never have your unhashed password, and explaining that they have to at some point in the process

When you create an account you type your password in. This gets sent to the server, and then it is hashed and stored

So there is a period of time where they have your unhashed password

This is true of every website you have ever made a password on

Agreed the Hive app sucks

You can control Hive lights (idk about heating) from Google Home or Amazon Alexa app (and probably apples equivalent too)

The Alexa app also kinda sucks, but the Google home app is decent. And if you have a Pixel then it works straight from the drop down like turning Bluetooth on or off

I bought a £30 coffee table from IKEA and it lasted me 6 years and 6 house moves. Only reason I got rid of it is because the flat I moved into had the exact same one already
