I switched Fedora KDE -> Manjaro KDE. Manjaro has less unnecessary software, a larger repository with more applications, and fewer issues with drivers. After updating to Fedora 42, I encountered problems with video drivers on my laptop. That was the final reason for switching to Manjaro.

I used Ubuntu for a long time. It is convenient because it is very popular and there is a lot of software available for installation without any extra steps. However, I think it has become quite overloaded. I have been using Fedora with KDE for a relatively long time and I am very satisfied. I use it as my main home and work operating system. It has proven to be very stable. I am engaged in software development, so I use it very actively, and I am happy with it. it meets all my needs. I think You could consider Fedora.

I'm very familiar with the situation. I was a Reddit user for 3 years. I have a pet project that turned into a small startup for me. I wrote about it in a suitable subreddit where people discussed startups. In the end, I got banned. It's unclear why. I tried creating new accounts several times, but I was banned almost immediately. I didn't receive any reasons for the ban via email. I just got fed up. I decided to look for another place to communicate because I was simply tired of it. I have already switched to Pixelfed, Mastodon, and now Lemmy. No more Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, no more algorithms. I'm happy!
