I can’t wait until a stroke puts him in a wheelchair and he has to eat McDonalds through a straw.

Exactly. When video recording was expensive stuff would get thrown out or overwritten a lot. Films had to be stored in the correct environment, video tapes were expensive and got reused. Stuff was lost that arguably would have some value now. But, the world isn’t going to hell for lack of early films or some episodes of a TV show.

Nowadays, it’s just too cheap to make videos and the volume has made the average quality go down. We don’t need to hoard Twitch streams and cat videos. Nothing will be lost that will be missed in 50 years. Conserving some might be interesting but it’s not going to impact people’s lives or history all that much.

Because people already know the chant and it’s dead easy to follow along and learn.

It’s not the words themselves that are effective. It’s the number of people saying them together. Chanting and singing in unison has a very powerful effect on human psychology for both the chanters and people hearing it.

Walk into almost a church to witness this effect, watch soldiers doing drills, listen to cheers at a sporting event. People are stronger together, we feel that at a fundamental level. Hearing people making the same sounds communicates unanimous intent. That can be inspiring or intimidating, it doesn’t matter much what words they say.

And they’ll do so under the pretense of “will nobody think of the children” while prominent Brits have gotten away with raping kids practically in the open. They didn’t even need encryption, they had people willingly turning a blind eye.

People with dementia have increasing difficulty following conversations, especially with multiple people, as the dementia gets worse.

It could be that Trump just can’t follow the conversation well. They’re not covering so much as Trump can’t handle so many people talking.

Might as well have painted a target on his face.

Funniest thing about that is they only help in an all-out fire fight to protect your vital bits except the head which would have a helmet. She’s not going into any situation nearly so dangerous and if someone wanted to take her out, specifically, there’s plenty of options.

She might as well have a mall ninja sword strapped to her back.

Lie detectors don’t work except as an intimidation technique so, yes, it’s Gestapo time.

Yep. I have a bunch of Epic’s free games. Never bought a single game from them and probably never will.

The experience on Steam is just better. And Epics lawsuits look less like they’re fighting for the little guy and more that they are envious of the market that other companies have.
